Mental Health at Work Training
Did you know that managers can influence employee mental health as much as partners — and more than doctors or therapists?
That's why we developed our new Mental Health at Work training, in partnership with St. Barnabas Counselling Centre and a group of long-term unemployed people with lived experience.
Over a million people in the UK are currently economically inactive due to poor mental health. A large share of our unemployed participants have mental health challenges - as well as an array of valuable skills and talents. Workplaces with a thorough understanding of mental health, and of the conditions that help employees regulate and thrive, benefit from higher staff satisfaction and retention, lower sickness absence, and access to a wider talent pool.

Over the course of three hours, you and your teams will develop a nuanced understanding of mental health and its biopsychosocial aspects.
In fun, practical and interactive sessions, this training covers a variety of topics including factors contributing to poor mental health, effective regulation techniques, and how workplaces can contribute to flourishing mental health at both individual and organisational levels.
Our training is created and delivered by unemployed people with lived experience, empowering them to educate from their own personal journey while earning an income.
The development of this training has been funded by the UEA Enterprise Fund.

Why should we deliver your Mental Health at Work training?
Profits for Social Good

As a social enterprise, all of our profits are reinvested back into our services which means that when you pay a fee for training, you know it is going towards supporting people back into work.
Our training is also delivered by our participants, who are paid for their contributions, getting them closer to work and empowering them to educate from their experience.
Specialised in-depth training

Our training has been co-developed with a group of experienced psychotherapists from St. Barnabas Counselling. As opposed to commonly delivered Mental Health First Aid training, this training provides an in-depth understanding of the topic and supports organisations and individuals to create a work environment that prevents mental ill health.
Competitive, transparent pricing

We deliver all our training as a flat fee, with discounts available for non-profits.
